CS-SUNN under the Partnership for Advocacy in Child and Family (PACFaH), organized a one day meeting in each of the project focal states (Kaduna, Nasarawa and Niger) was held on the 15th, 22nd and 23rd of July 2015, to sensitize, mobilize key stakeholders for the purpose of increasing awareness for the NSPAN and to introducing selected stakeholders to nutrition advocacy.
The meetings were hugely successful and had in attendance sixty one (61) for Nasarawa, fifty one (51) for Niger and fifty five (55) for Kaduna; drawn from Mapped CSOs, FBOs, CBOs, Government line ministries (Health, Agriculture, Education, Information, Planning, NOA, LGA nutrition focal persons etc.)
Modules on Advocacy building, national/state specific nutrition situation, the purpose of the PACFaH project, and other relevant modules were presented at the one day event. The meetings were successfully held and a pre and post evaluation conducted and analysed to ascertain participants’ knowledge level. see pictures from the meetings
