CS-SUNN IMPLEMENTS N4G SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

A capstone to the year, the Tokyo N4G Summit in Japan in December 2021 was hosted by the Government of Japan, positioned to celebrate the significant commitments made, mobilize additional commitments, and re-energize political momentum for nutrition. Ahead of the summit, the SUN CSN in Nigeria had implemented a series of social media campaign with CS-SUNN as lead aimed at disseminating Nigeria’s commitments and messages in order to raise momentum and generate the needed visibility to showcase Nigeria’s commitments at the global gathering.

The campaign held recently on CS-SUNN facebook and Instagram pages disseminated policy commitments and messages for the government of Nigeria to integrate and prioritize Nutrition in the National Development Plan and the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTNDP/MTEF-FSP)

A total of fifteen (9) powerful messages and social cards/graphics were posted on social media with the hashtags: #N4G #NutritionYearofAction #NutritionTuesday targeting the Vice President, National/State Committees on Food and Nutrition, Policy makers, Legislators, Child Rights Advocates, The academia, Health practitioners, the Public, Media, Private sector, All Nutrition Line Ministries Departments and Agencies, General Public, Development and Donor Partners, Office of the Accountant General, etc.
