We are pleased to issue this Request for Quotations (RFQ) seeking qualified website developers (Vendor) to implement a Service/News focused website that provides ease of access to services and resources including a robust search engine. We wish to engage a Vendor who will renew our website hoisting to meet the below specifications and provide continuous ongoing hosting, maintenance, support, and design services.

Specifications for Hoisting Renewal includes:

A) Hoisting:

  1. Renewal on the same URL: reflecting the character and values of CS-SUNN
  2. Registration/ WordPress/cPanel website Transfer/ 2 years Renewal of Domain name
  3. Purchase/Renewal of SSL
  4. Payment for cloud hosting with either Go Daddy, Digital Ocean, Azure, Amazon, etc
  5. Website deployment to the server
  6. Unlimited & Unmetered bandwidth and disc space
  7. One-click WordPress installs

B) Official Email

Optimization of official email addresses created/currently in use using business mail via – google, Microsoft, etc

C) Website Creation

-A dynamic news website that is easy for non-technical staff to update.

-Must be mobile responsive.

-Must be user friendly (UI/UX)

-Must be SEO Friendly

-Must be compatible with most browsers with different versions

-Must be sophisticated to withstand attack.

-Payment system integration for donations

Specifications for Maintenance includes:


  1. A content management system (CMS) that is easy for non-technical staff to update with a variety of customizable templates and features.
  2. Optimized look of the website for any device (mobile version).
  3. Scan for vulnerabilities
  4. Repairs and fixes to error messages, bugs, broken links
  5. Browser compatibility testing
  6. Software update of content management system themes and plugins include other non-critical software
  7. Weekly Website backups
  8. Addressing issues affecting site speed
  9. Server monitoring and maintenance
  10. Site structure modification as at when needed
  11. Any other task as may be assigned related to website maintenance
  12. Search engine optimization
  13. Accurate, up-to-date Website content update, including creating of new menus and sub-menus with a consistent look and feel across departments and divisions
  14. Any other task as may be assigned related to website maintenance

Quarterly Technical training and support to staff on enhancements on the website to facilitate uploads by staff


-Monthly report on work done on website including website analytics important metrics of your site and the trends in those key metrics.

Qualifications:A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification (Master’s degree is an added advantage). 3-5 years and above of work experience as a website manager as well as expert knowledge of Macromedia suite, Adobe suite, Content Management Systems, and W3C Web standards among others. Must also show evidence of professional and technical background and provide verifiable and functional LINKS to similar works done.Proposals for the above specifications should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, CS-SUNN with subject of mail as ‘WEBSITE HOSTING AND MAINTENANCE’ and sent via mail to not later than 5:00 PM, Friday 9th July, 2021.Print-outs (Hard Copies) of proposals should also be addressed and sent to (not later than 5:00 PM, Friday 9th July, 2021)

Documents to be submitted by Prospective Vendor:

  1. Company Certificate of Incorporation
  2. A copy of Form CO2 (filed with the Corporate Affairs Commission) stating the Directors of the company
  3. Two (2) passport photographs of the least of the directors of the company
  4. Address of place of business (including telephone number if any)
  5. Evidence of any previous business done with other company/companies
  6. Letter authorizing CS-SUNN to obtain references from former business partners
  7. Name and address of bankers (where current account is maintained)
