1. Introduction
The Civil Society Scaling-Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN) is a non-governmental, non-profit making alliance, made up of organizations with a shared vision to transform Nigeria into a country where every citizen has food and is nutrition secured. CS-SUNN pursues this lofty goal by engaging government and non-state actors to raise awareness, sustain commitment and actions to effectively tackle under-nutrition in Nigeria.
CS-SUNN is the Nigerian Civil Society Alliance (CSA) of the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) global movement, which was founded on the principle that all people have a right to food and good nutrition. Nigeria joined the global movement in 2011, and the CSA arm (CS-SUNN) was birthed in November, 2013 at Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria and formally inaugurated on the 7th of August, 2014.
CS-SUNN invites qualified and experienced vendors to submit quotations for the supply, installation, and commissioning of hybrid solar power systems with lithium battery storage.
2. Scope of Work
The selected vendor(s) will be required to:
- Supply complete hybrid solar power systems (20KVA and 30KVA capacities)
- Provide lithium battery storage solutions
- Carry out full installation and system integration
- Conduct testing and commissioning
- Provide user training and documentation where necessary
- Offer after-sales support and warranty services
3. Technical Requirements
A. 20KVA Hybrid Solar System
- Capacity: 20KVA
- System Type: Hybrid (Grid + Solar + Battery)
- Battery Type: Lithium
- Inverter: Hybrid inverter (compatible with lithium battery)
- Solar Panels: High-efficiency panels
- Mounting Structure: Roof-mounted
- Protection: Surge protection, circuit breakers, earthing system
B. 30KVA Hybrid Solar System
- Capacity: 30KVA
- System Type: Hybrid (Grid + Solar + Battery)
- Battery Type: Lithium
- Inverter: Hybrid inverter (compatible with lithium battery)
- Solar Panels: High-efficiency panels
- Mounting Structure: Roof-mounted
- Protection: Surge protection, circuit breakers, earthing system
Note: Vendors are open to proposing any reputable brand, provided technical specifications meet industry standards.
4. Vendor Requirements
Interested vendors must provide:
- Company profile and registration documents
- Evidence of similar projects executed
- Technical specifications of the proposed system
- Warranty details for all components
- After-sales support plan
5. Pricing Requirements
Vendors must submit a detailed quotation including:
- Cost of equipment (itemized)
- Installation and commissioning costs
- Transportation/logistics costs (if applicable)
- Taxes (if applicable)
- Total cost
- Validity period
- Delivery timeline
6. Evaluation Criteria
Quotations will be evaluated based on:
- Cost competitiveness
- Vendor experience and capacity
- Warranty and after-sales support
- Delivery timeline
7. Submission Instructions
All quotations should be submitted via procurement@cs-sunn.org ONLY on or before 12:00 noon on Monday, 8th of June 2026
