About:
The Scaling up Nutrition Civil Society Youth Network Nigeria (SUN CSYNN) is a movement of youth activists and youth-led organizations who are leading the change and championing efforts to end malnutrition, strengthen food systems and ensure food and nutrition security in Nigeria. It is birthed from the Youth Leaders for Nutrition (YL4N) Program of the SUN Civil Society Network (SUN CSN) which is designed to hold dialogues with children and young people in the most marginalized communities and support the growth of diverse, inclusive national networks of children, young people and youth-led organizations.
In Nigeria, the SUN Civil Society Youth Network is aligned with and supported by the SUNCSA Nigeria – the Civil Society-Scaling up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN).
Vision:
A country where young people are at the fore-front of the efforts for ending malnutrition and ensuring food and nutrition security.
Mission:
To galvanize and build a network of youth activists to champion campaigns, advocacies and activism towards combating hunger and malnutrition and ensuring food and nutrition security in Nigeria.
