Ngozika Ogbonna-Coordinator FCT
NGOZIKA OGBONNA is the Coordinator, CS-SUNN FCT Chapter. She has expertise in Advocacy, Capacity Building, Fund Raising, Organizational Management and Program Coordination. She has a B.Sc. Sociology/Anthropology and a Master’s Degree in Public Health with additional skills in Communication, Reporting Writing papertyper.net and Photography. Ngozika has been contributing to improving maternal and child health in Nigeria for the past 13 years and has been actively involved in leading high-level advocacies and project implementation in various program areas especially nutrition, immunization, pneumonia and diarrhea, reproductive health (family planning, Gender-Based Violence, HIV/AIDS Prevention/treatment and care, etc). She has worked with diverse national and international stakeholders, donors and implementing partners on various projects within 29 states in Nigeria, served as the Chairman Finance and Fundraising Sub-Committee of the CS-SUNN Steering Committee from February 2017 to August 2020. She has also served in various capacities in other coalitions such as the Civil Society for HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (CiSHAN), Association of OVC NGOs in Nigeria, National Council of Child Rights Advocates Nigeria (NACCRAN), Civil Society on Malaria, Immunization and Nutrition (ACOMIN). Since her organization (Greater Life Initiative) joined CS- SUNN FCT in 2017, she has served in the capacities of Assistant Secretary, Secretary, Advocacy Team lead and now Coordinator of the Alliance. Mercy Asso Talatu Coordinator-Nasarawa State
Mrs. Mercy Asso Talatu is the CS-SUNN Nasarawa state chapter coordinator. Her core expertise is in Monitoring and Evaluation, Programming and Advocacy with additional skills in nutrition counselling. She is M&E Officer (CYCD) Center for youth challenge and Development and worked on HIV/AIDS World Bank HAF2 Project (M&E) 2015-2017. She was also part of the team on the Gilead Science USA 2017 HIV screening in Awe Nasarawa state. (M&E) and was CS-SUNN state Chapter Deputy coordinator 2017-2019. She is a Member, Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and the Nutrition Society of Nigeria. She has the following educational qualifications; RN, RM, BNSc, MSc. Public Health (in view).
Comfort Mukollo Coordinator-Gombe state
Mrs. Mukollo has a Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Linguistics. She is a Development Journalist with Gombe State Media Corporation and is the Gombe State Chairperson, Nigeria Association of Women Journalist (NAWOJ). She is also the Secretary, High Level Women Advocates Gombe State and Deputy Coordinator, MNCH coalition Gombe State.
Shuaibu Musa Kafinga – Coordinator Jigawa State
Mr. Shuaibu Musa Kafinga is the Jigawa state coordinator CS-SUNN. He has a post-graduate in Management Science and a Higher Professional Diploma Computer Studies. Musa’s area of expertise is in development work and humanitarian services. Aisha Maidala Coordinator-Borno State
Mrs. Aisha is professional Nutritionist and a “Nigerian Registered Dietician, (NRD). She holds a Master of Public Health, with Major in Public Health Nutrition and is currently the Head of Department, Nutrition/Dietetics, Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital, Maiduguri. She is also the President, Nigeria Dietetics Association, Borno State Chapter. She runs a local NGO, “Gender Environmental and Nutritional Care” and is the Executive Director. Her Organization produces and distributes locally Ready to Use Therapeutic Food using home-grown grains as part of their contribution to Nutrition Interventions in Nigeria. The Local RUTF is available and in local markets.
Fatoye Francis Coordinator-Kwara state
Fatoye Francis is an expert in Program Management; Organizational Development; Health Information Management; Biostatistics and Data Science. He is currently running a Master’s programme in Project Management. He has wealth of experience in Programme Management, Organizational Development (OD), and leadership Development Programs. Francis is also a Civil Society and as a Non-State Actor leader, leading and coordinating civil Society response to Health interventions at the State level. He is a State Technical Assistant to Saving One Million Program for Result (SOMR PforR). He is the State Coordinator, CS-SUNN Kwara state chapter.
Francis is a member of the Association of Health Information Managers, a Member of the National Association of Evaluators; A Senior member, chartered Public Diplomacy Manager. He passionately loves doing development work. Francis has additional skill in Choreography.

Jessica Bartholomew Coordinator- Kaduna State
Jessica Bartholomew is the Coordinator, CS-SUNN Kaduna State chapter. She is a focused, passionate and hardworking civil right activist who is a trained nutrition advocate. She has a professional background in Health Education. Following her contributions in advocating for increased nutrition budget, tracking nutrition interventions and support to the state government to develop different policy documents including the domestication of the State Food and Nutrition Policy and the Social Protection Policy among others, Jessica has been inaugurated into the Community of Practice on financial inclusion under the Kaduna state Economic Council.
Elder Kenneth Amogu Coordinator-Imo state
Elder Amogu is currently the Programme Director of Forward Africa, a non-profit, non-governmental development organization based in Owerri, Imo state, Nigeria. A graduate of Accountancy, also hold Post Graduate Diploma in Education. He has also participated in a number of capacity building trainings.
Elder Amogu is a graduate of PIND’s CAPABLE, with over 15 years’ experience, working in the development sector, with vast experience in Development Finance, Programme planning and implementation. He has successfully participated in the implementation of various projects and led in Financial reporting of over 20 different projects, cutting across Women and Reproductive Health, Adolescent and Young People’s Health, Agriculture and Economic development, Democracy and Good
Governance, supported by Funders Like Ford Foundation, Harvest plus, National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI), Private Agencies Collaborating Together(PACT), Partnership Initiative in the Niger Delta (PIND),etc. Elder Kenneth Amogu enjoys mentoring emerging Civil Society organizations and younger ones with keen interest in development. He has successfully supported young people in establishing Nutritious Food Businesses and Enterprises, Nutritious Food Farms and Schools Clubs. He is a member, Imo State Committee on Food and Nutrition and a trustee of an Emerging development organization with focus on
Nutrition. He is a team player, trusted and endowed with very relevant development skills (Financial, administrative, communication, interpersonal, etc. He Strongly believes in partnership, synergy and collaboration for more result and impact, and loves exploring opportunities.
Dr. Chuka Agunwa Coordinator- Enugu State
Dr. Chuka has expertise in Public Health (Primary Health Care, Maternal and Child Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics). He is currently an Honorary Consultant at University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku-Ozalla, Enugu State, the Departmental Residency Training Coordinator and was the Acting Head of Department in 2019 (Resident Doctor and Medical Student Training and Project supervisor, Health care research and patient clinical management). He was a Lecturer and is also a Senior Lecturer with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka since 2019 till date. Dr. Chuka is an Associate Director, Biomedical Communications Center, May 2017- date.
At the Nigerian Center for Disease Control, he is the Infection Prevention and Control Focal Resource Person for UNTH Ituku Ozalla, a member organization of the Orange Network. He is responsible for planning, Implementation of a training program on IPC for 4,000 hospital staff, facilitated the establishment of an IPC committee and IPC unit, conducts training and supportive supervision of the IPC unit. He reports to the NCDC
Dr. Chuka is a Consultant with the WHO/United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF). He monitored supervision of malaria management preparedness in Imo state, 2009. He was a Researcher for a Global Fund which supported national assessment of childhood TB practices among public and private health facilities in 2013. He was Coordinator, Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) Intervention for Faith Based Organizations in Enugu State, June 2016 and a Consultant/ Facilitator for Development of a 5-year Strategic Work plan for Food and Nutrition for Anambra State (2017-2020). He was a Supervisor, National Neonatal Tetanus Survey (a WHO/NPHCDA collaboration) to certify neonatal tetanus elimination in Nigeria. 2017.
At the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, he worked to develop educational videos for health workers as part of the national N power intervention in August 2018 and was Supervisor.
He was a Consultant/Lecturer at the Madonna University Teaching Hospital, Elele, Rivers State from September 2014 – May 2018 and was Head of Department, September 2014 to October 2015. He was also Senior Registrar at the University Of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku-Ozalla, Enugu State in 2014. At UNTH, he was a Community Health Officer Of A Training Program where he lectured in Environmental Health and Epidemiology for trainee Community Health workers, conducted examinations involving project work and written examinations.
On the Federal Ministry Of Health Integrated Management Of Childhood Illness (IMCI) Program, he is a Facilitator/Supervisor. He plans, implements and evaluates health worker training, provides supportive supervision of trained health workers, program report writing and Facilitates debriefing meetings for Government and private sector stakeholders
At DFID-Partnership For Transforming Health Systems (Paths2), Enugu State, he was Consultant/ Cluster Facilitation Officer – Agbani, responsible for ensuring quality service delivery in key areas of Maternal and Child health care, TB/HIV control, Immunization, etc. in 17 PATHS2-supported Health Facilities spread across Nkanu East and West Local Government Areas of Enugu State. Dr, Agunwa was also DFID/PATHS 2 Volunteer Doctor/ Programme Assistant, April 2012 – November 2012 where he offered free medical services at PATHS 2 supported facilities, co-ordination of Village health committee meetings and activities, health worker mentoring
He was a Research Assistant with the Health Policy Research Group (Hprg), University Of Nigeria Enugu Campus, Enugu State involved in project planning and implementation, Field data collection, analysis and presentation. He was also Ebonyi State Co ordinator for the Global Funds sponsored project “Enabling and constraining factors affecting the adoption of the NHIS in Nigeria”.
He won Oyediran Prize for Best Candidate Part 1 Examinations, West African College of Physicians. April, 2010.
He was the Enugu State Local Working Group Coordinator of the Civil Society For Scaling Up Nutrition In Nigeria (CS-SUNN) and is currently the State Chapter Coordinator. He carried out advocacy to key State policy makers for programs scaling up nutrition in Enugu State, organized a State wide Policy Dialogue on the National Strategic Plan of Action on Nutrition (NSPAN) which involved representatives from Government MDAs, State legislators, CSOs, religious leaders & media and organized a Town Hall meeting for Nutrition in Ezeagu LGA

Azogu Obiageli Miriam Coordinator- Rivers state
Mrs. Azogu has experience in programming for kids, teens and women. She has worked in the quality control laboratory of several food processing companies as a food scientist. Azogu participated in the UNICEF community of practice and served as an external monitor in MNCH week in Bayelsa state as a Public Health Technologist. She is a Home Economics Teacher. She is the Coordinator, CS-SUNN Rivers State Chapter.
She has carried out researches on the influence of familys’ socio-demographic characteristics on the sexual behaviors of female adolescents and on their learning abilities. Azogu founded the Quiva Fillas Kiddies Club (The club has produced her first musical video and have embarked on several local and international educational trips). She also handles media coverage of some of their programs.
She is running a Master’s programme in Public Health, has a PGD in Public Health Technology, PGD in Education and a B. Tech in food science and technology. She has additional skills in communication and interpersonal communication, excellent teaching skills and ability to work with children of all ages.

Dr. Modupe Rebecca Akinyinka is the Coordinator CS-SUNN, Lagos Chapter. She has expertise in Public Health, Health Management, Public Health Nutrition and Reproductive Health.
