Lady Azogu Obiageli Miriam

Lady Azogu is an expert in Managing Adolecents and Children. She has have worked in the Quality Control department of various food processing industries and is actively involved in food processing and demonstrations.

She is  am a certified teacher;  teaches Home Economics in Junior Secondary section and Foods and Nutrition, and Catering Craft Practice in Senior Secondary section of Jesuit Memorial College, Port Harcourt. She is the founder of Quiva Fillas Educational Foundation, an NGO founded to promote positive values and good morals in children and adolescents and to equip them with skills they need to face life squarely and attain all their goals in life, irrespective of their backgrounds. She has organized many international and local educational trips, talent/skill hunt and acquisition for young people and exposes them to activities that will instill confidence in them, so they can stand out in everything they do. Recently, she completed a workshop series on Leadership Development for Accelerated Progress in Nutrition in Nigeria (LEDA-NN).

She is also undergoing a leadership training in fund raising. She is a member of Graduate Women International (GWI) and Home Economics Teachers Association of Nigeria (HETAN).  She is also a member of the Rivers State Nutrition Partners Forum and Rivers State Committee on Food and Nutrition. She is the CS-SUNN State Coordinator, Rivers.

Lady Azogu studied Food Science and Technology at Federal University of Technology, Owerri, where she also obtained a PGD in Public Health Technology. She has a PGD in Education, from University of Port Harcourt and is studying for a master’s degree in Public Health at the University of South wales, United Kingdom.

She has facilitated workshops for children and adolescents on various themes, such as Nutrition, Sex Education, Career choice Public speaking, etc.
