OVERVIEW

From pilot to national infrastructure.

A Scalable National Model for Youth-Led Nutrition Action

CS‑SUNN has developed and tested a high-impact, inclusive youth engagement model that is positioned for national scale across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Built on successful implementation across diverse contexts, this strategy demonstrates how young people — including adolescents, young persons with disabilities (PLWDs), and other marginalised groups — serve as catalysts for improved nutrition outcomes. It drives advocacy, strengthens community systems, enhances accountability, and accelerates behaviour change.

This nationally adaptable model provides a structured and scalable framework for integrating youth into Nigeria’s nutrition response architecture, with a deliberate emphasis on equity, inclusion, and leaving no one behind.
