National Youth for Nutrition (Y4N) Project
Empowering young leaders across Nigeria to champion nutrition advocacy and improve nutrition outcomes in communities.
PROJECT SUMMARY
The National Youth for Nutrition (Y4N) Project mobilizes young leaders across Nigeria to become advocates for improved nutrition outcomes. The initiative builds the capacity of youth networks to promote nutrition awareness, influence policy discussions, and implement community driven nutrition interventions.
Through this project, a structured youth advocacy network was established across six states representing Nigeria’s geopolitical zones. The network empowers youth to lead nutrition campaigns, support community engagement efforts, and collaborate with key stakeholders working within the Scaling Up Nutrition Movement.
The project contributes to strengthening youth participation in nutrition governance and supports national efforts to address malnutrition.
